Quartz is stain-resistant, not completely stainproof .It does contain a layer of resin and pigment that’s petroleum based, and this layer can combine with certain chemicals to lead to stains. If you spill something on your quartz countertops, start by wiping them off with a soft rag and a mild detergent.
